Visit Lemon 'n Lyme – where brightly colored walls greet you, and vibrant paintings and interesting gifts call your attention! Lemon 'n Lyme, located in Old Lyme, Connecticut, features a wide variety of art – watercolors, oils, pottery, Brazilian hand made jewelry, beautiful jackets and quilt hangings. Owners, Linda and Barry Improte, were inspired to open an artisan gift shop and gallery, with the hopes to further the mission of their community with the growth of the arts. Lemon 'n Lyme provides a showcase for artists to display their work. You can even find a unique line that Linda developed called the Health & Happiness Collection. Based on her years of experience as a nurse practitioner, Linda developed a tote filled with functional items designed to create an environment that helps raise a patients' sprits and boost their morale while transforming their room into an artful environment. The galleries at Lemon 'n Lyme are beautiful and serene – inviting you to sit and contemplate the array of artwork adorning the walls. We feature a wide variety of local and regional artists featuring oils, acrylics, watercolors and photography, as well as mixed media.
